Gary Robinette, also known as “Mighty Moe” was born September 9, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio. Gary entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Gary was a man of many talents and traits. He was a loving father, brother, husband, grandfather, uncle, and a friend to all. Gary dedicated his life to Christ along with a strong dedication to family and work. Gary worked many jobs which included serving in the Georgetown SC Coast Guard, Georgetown Steel Mill, and at American Gypsum. As a man of Christ, Gary was a gate keeper, musician, and builder of Fireside Ministries. Even though life tried relentlessly to knock Gary down, he always came back stronger. Gary always knew that God would get him through anything and everything. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Robinette, mother of his kids, Phyllis Wagner; his kids Rachel Robinette, Aarron Robinette and his wife Lisa, Camdon Robertson, Justin Robertson and his wife Dawn, Sunshine Elliott, his sister Laura Davidson, and his brother Rex Robinette. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Mildred Robinette; and his son Damien Robertson. Also surviving are his grandkids Ethan Robinette, Emma Robinette, Issac Robinette, Owen Robinette, Jennifer “Olivia” Robinette, Lane Hanna, Dessie Arbaugh, Cole Robertson, Wyatt Robertson, Cody Robertson, Keeley Morris, Makayla Robertson, Josh Miller, Sydney Robertson, Austin Goude, Jenna Elliot, and Brailyn Jewel; nieces Lindsey Davidson, Nicole Davidson, and nephew Drew Davidson. Services will be held Friday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at Fireside Ministries of Georgetown SC by Graham Funeral Home also of Georgetown SC. The family will receive guest starting at 5 p.m. prior to the service. The United States Coast Guard will also be honoring Garys’ memory at Fireside Ministries. The family asks that all flowers and donations be sent to Fireside Ministries and thank you for your condolences in advance.
