Richard Elgin Hathaway, 72, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 3, 1943 in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Mr. Hathaway retired from International Paper and was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with his companion of 22 years, Cindy Martin, and his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 5pm at the VFW in Georgetown, South Carolina, located at 711 Church Street.
