Claude Harold George, Jr., 62, husband of Wanda T. George, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home.
Born on March 4, 1952, in Mt. Airy, NC, he was a son of the late Claude Harold George and the late Maxie Gates George. Mr. George was a craftsman and enjoyed creating new things and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Della George Wyler (Scott) of Tampa, FL, Adrian George of Paint Rock, AL and Dylan George of Columbia; three grandchildren, David Wyler, Adriana George and Levi Wyler; one sister, Sybil Inman (Daymor) of Mt. Airy, NC; and mother in law, Dollie Tobler of Georgetown.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 5, 2015 with Rev. Tommy Cox officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
