Obituary of Betty May Lambert Rogers

Betty May Lambert Rogers, 67, wife of Ervin Rogers, passed away on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at her home. Born on July 7, 1947, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. Lambert, Sr. and the late Ethel Hartley Lambert. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith and attended Georgetown Church of God. Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; one daughter, Peggy Gray (Theron); one step son, Casey Rogers (April); two grandchildren, Shawn Michau and Heather Michau; three step grandchildren, Thomas Rogers, DJ Rogers and CJ Rogers; four great grandchildren, Anthony Hamilton, Christopher Michau, Haylee Michau and Alison Michau; one step great grandchild, Kenyatta Gray; two sisters, Carolyn Radcliffe (Bobby) and Brenda Flegel (Michael); two brothers, Tommy Lambert (Jackie) and John Lambert (Ruth); one special aunt, Mamie Cribb; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two husbands, James E. Bordeaux and Angel Roy Matthews; two sons, James Bordeaux, Jr. and Jeffrey L. Bordeaux; and a brother, David Lambert. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Georgetown Church of God with Rev. Ryan Pitts and Rev. Ossie Deese officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Georgetown Church of God. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
