Obituary of Billy Parrott

Billy Parrott, 70, husband of Teresa Van Vlake Parrott, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born on November 13, 1943, in Johnsonville, he was a son of the late Clinton and Lola Bell Hanna Parrott. Mr. Parrott enjoyed playing golf, fishing and working in his yard. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Van Vlake Parrott of Andrews; two daughters, Pam Parrott of Georgetown and Tara Parrott Luttrell of Summerville; one son, Billy Parrott, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; one brother, Buck Parrott of Pawleys Island; five sisters, Betty Ethridge and Lola Dean Riggs of Manning and Nell White, Tricia Cook, and Jean Terry all of Andrews; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Andrews Church of God with Rev. Wayne Cox and Rev. Geraldine Bednego officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Wednesday at Graham Funeral Home. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements. www.grahamfuneralhome.org
